The Demi-Lune Leisure Park
Pedal boats, educational farm, water bubbles, zipline, ponies, tree climbing, trampolines … The Demi-Lune Leisure Park offers a wide range of activities for young and old in a natural wooded setting.
The Demi-Lune leisure park is the oldest in the department. Created in the early 1950s by the Lannemezan Hospital, its management was entrusted to the ESAT in 1988.
Originally, the hospital’s project was innovative since it made it possible to sustain the rehabilitation action at work through a tourist activity, contributing to the valuation of patients. Long called «the hospital park», it has been part of the cultural heritage of the Lannemezan plateau for two generations.
A place of meeting and festivities, with its fallow deer, its little train, its mini-golf and its pedal boats, the park has been completed with numerous activities: the carousel, the jungle, the baby bob, the bubbles on water, the mini farm, the playgrounds and the two climbing trails (one for adults, one for children) with their ziplines above the lake.
The Demi-Lune bistro and the picnic areas, accessible to people with reduced mobility, allow visitors to eat on site. You will understand, it’s all about getting together and having a good time with your family.
