Esparros Chasm
An exceptional geological site
Unique for its variety and abundance of concretions, with real aragonite (rock crystal) formations, the Esparros Chasm is truly a subterranean garden that you can visit in a spectacle of sound and light. Inside a “bubble of light”, you’ll move through the underground passages, many of which have impressive dimensions and a huge variety of crystals and concretions, including aragonite flowers, helictites and draperies.
Today it is one of the most beautiful chasms open to visitors, and a reference when it comes to the scientific study and safeguarding of the underground environment.
