Remarkable trees

Trees can be remarkable by their height, their age, their species, or any other distinguishing characteristic. An “Arbre Remarquable” seal of approval can be awarded to remarkable trees selected by the Maison Nature et de l’Environnement and the “Arbres 65” association.

Visitors are invited to admire them as they explore from village to village. The sequoias of Uglas, the oak of Escaladieu, the lime tree of Bulan, the chestnut tree of La Barthe de Neste, the cork oak of Galez, and so on. Their scale and diversity are humbling, and each and every one has a story to tell.
