1 | Departure from the Cascade car park. Take the signposted path down in the middle of hazelnuts, mosses and ferns. Halfway down, on the right a cave dominates the path (Warning, do not climb, the access is dangerous), continue down the path to reach the stream of the "Artigaou". |

3 | Up the creek to quickly reach the foot of the waterfall. At a height of several tens of meters, it dominates the valley of the Artigaou and the village of Esparros. The rock is particular: tuff or travertine. It is formed by deposition of limestone on vegetation (such as mosses or algae), at the emergence of certain springs or streams or water with small waterfalls. Limestone carbonate precipitates due to the action of plants and water eddies and forms a sponge-like rock. The waterfall is covered with moss and lichens. |
