Inside the church of Notre Dame, the altarpiece is signed Jean I Ferrere, founder of the dynasty of sculptors who operated for 5 generations in the Pyrenees.
This tripartite altarpiece highlighted by four twisted columns and dominated by sculpted elements is typical of his creations (see also the altarpiece in Capvern). With him the figures are still stiff, the bodies exaggerated elongated, the draped lean and the faces without expression.
